Ancestors ask, “Are you listening to the voice of your inner child?”

Are you seeking a closer connection with the Universe? You might be trying to connect with a God or Goddess, or develop a dialogue with your ancestors?

In my experience, the first step in the path in connecting with the spiritual world is developing some kind of regular conversation with your inner child. Your inner child is a representation of who you were when you were a child. A thought form that grew from the memories you had of yourself. This includes hobbies, thoughts, and weird quirks that you remember starting in early childhood.

For myself, I remember making up these little stories about my toys. I was enchanted by the idea of “My Little Pony” and I was also into listening to my grandmother talk about Catholicism. I would take these two passions and combine them into one. I would make a world where the My Little Ponies had their Magick and regularly worked with their Gods to maintain balance. Yeah, it was a child’s way of seeing religion – yet it was potent.

I carried those stories in my heart for the rest of my life. When I decided to start growing my intuition and connection to the spiritual world, I decided to start making those little stories in my head about my interactions with the Gods, the earth, and the ancestors.

Yes, my stories have evolved based on the education I have pursued in my life, however what I played as a child became an effective way of working with Magick & Divination.
