Tarot Card of the Day 07 25 2022
Simply Deep Tarot by Chanel Bayles and Artwork by James Battersby
This Chariot card in the tarot refers to our ability to confidently maintain control over ourselves and make decisions which positively influence our surroundings. An example of this card is the parent who is able to multitask between rearing the children and balancing their adult life. The parent realizes that some situations are beyond their control (such as a child catching a cold and the parent has to cancel their evening plans.) In juxtaposition, the parent is in charge of the overall safety of their child, so when the child makes a bad decision – the parent will act.
Be careful not to hold the reins so tightly and think too much on life… you can get further if you allow your intuitions (emotions) to guide you.
What are Tarot Cards?
It’s believed that tarot cards date back to the 1400s in parts of Europe. The wealthy classes in France and Italy used Tarot cards initially as a parlor game. About three hundred years later, our ancestors began assigning meanings to specific cards and designing layouts to better understand their fortunes. There are 78 cards in a traditional deck of tarot cards. Although the cards are very different from their original counterparts, the tarot is still important for connecting with the higher self and receiving insights from the divine.
