“Raidho”

Raidho is traditionally the rune of rapid motion or traveling. In this case, Raidho comes to assure us that we are charging down the path we have created for ourselves. An internal GPS of sorts, or a compass, guides us to the people, places, and ideas which best serve us. We are finally embracing our dreams and not taking any detours. Stay the course!

What are the Norse Runes?

Originally from Germany and Scandinavia, Norse runes are an ancient alphabet.‌ ‌Pagans and Heathens (people who follow the Northern traditions) use them for divination (foretelling). There are 24 runes in what is known as the Elder Futhark version.‌ ‌Odin is said to have gained access to the sacred alphabet by hanging upside down‌ ‌from‌ ‌the‌ ‌world‌ ‌tree (Yggdrasil)‌ ‌for‌ ‌nine‌ ‌days.
