Norse Rune of the Day 07 11 2022
“Tiwaz”
The rune Tiwaz was named after the Norse God of Justice, Tyr. If this rune is coming into your life, you are doing something right! The times ahead are ones of growing your roots, spreading your branches, and thriving. Tiwaz helps us recognize when we are acting from a place of fairness and balance in our lives. When we are not running to extremes, we are done going back and forth. We are going forward. Set your sights on higher purpose!
What are the Norse Runes?
Originally from Germany and Scandinavia, Norse runes are an ancient alphabet. Pagans and Heathens (people who follow the Northern traditions) use them for divination (foretelling). There are 24 runes in what is known as the Elder Futhark version. Odin is said to have gained access to the sacred alphabet by hanging upside down from the world tree (Yggdrasil) for nine days.
