Tarot Card 6 23 2022

The Lovers
The Lovers card speaks of a lust for an idea, person, or place. A deep, simmering passion which encourages us to keep moving forward. As with the emotion of love, The Lovers card can speak of blind devotion to an ideal. If we are wise and willing to look at the motivations of our actions, we can uncover much about our authentic selves. Are we pouring ourselves into this person, place, or idea because it has merit, or are we comfortable doing it because it’s what we’ve always done?
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by looking at our “shadow self.” Our shadow self speaks of the unconscious mind. Even though it may initially seem hidden, we can see evidence of it through our daily actions and habits. If you’re seeking to discover more about yourself and your great love, please contact me! What are Tarot Cards?
It’s believed that tarot cards date back to the 1400s in parts of Europe. The wealthy classes in France and Italy used Tarot cards initially as a parlor game. About three hundred years later, our ancestors began assigning meanings to specific cards and designing layouts to better understand their fortunes. There are 78 cards in a traditional deck of tarot cards. Although the cards are very different from their original counterparts, the tarot is still important for connecting with the higher self and receiving insights from the divine.
