County of Origin: Greece

Apollo

A major deity in the Greek Pantheon.‌ ‌While Apollo is sometimes associated with the Sun, the honor goes to Lord Helios.‌ ‌Apollo‌ ‌is‌ ‌a gifted healer, poet, and artist whose bright nature is the basis of inspiration.‌ ‌Apollo is the twin brother of the Goddess of the Moon, ‌Artemis.‌ ‌The symbols associated with him include chariots, bows, and harps. His colors are gold, white, and yellow. You may offer him honey, goat meat, milk, or citrus themed desserts. He is a widely loved and honored God within the Greek pantheon.

In my own experience, working with Apollo is always fascinating. I usually light a candle to him and offer some kind words or a blessing in his direction. I usually work with Apollo in moments of needing help with a particular divination, improving my psychic senses, or when I’m writing articles. I have known Apollo to be a cheerful deity who enjoys the finer things in life.

Do you need help connecting with a deity? I have resources such as reading lists, sample rituals, and I can answer any questions you may have about building a relationship with the Gods. There are many valid methods out there. I am not a scholar on every subject. My way is not the only or right way. I am here to be a guidepost and nothing more. Your relationship with the divine is personal and I am here only to assist in the process.
