Shift happens

In previous years, I’ve been able to write a few posts a week in my regular blog. These included articles, insights, & the occasional soapbox rant. My challenge came when summer hit and my little girls came home from their regular school day. Needless to say, five children is not conducive to concentration when writing. My articles and aspirations were put to the sidelines so I could give the children the attention they deserved.

Without fail, I was starting up the school year in a depressive state because I expected to be pumping out articles left and right after a long hiatus. This year, I’m not going to set myself up for failure. While I build this website, I’m going to be posting little blurbs like this to get my mind functioning in the right direction to write better material. These little news updates also provide me with perspective on how much energy I expend while accomplishing things towards my goals. I think busy people sometimes loose sight of how much they get done and it’s important to keep a realistic perspective on life.

Here’s what I accomplished today:

  1. Support page is finished!
  2. Started the “Pagan Resource Master List”
  3. Got the ball rolling on creating the mascot for the website. My good friend and wonderful artist Kidril will be helping me 🙂
