Lightning in Dearest Darkness

Twilight’s calling surrounds the lonely souls,
Roars of thunder, still their voices,
Lightning, stills their murky thoughts,
Mother Earth You cry your tears upon me,
I have an open ear,
I come to You, as a Sister,
Watching and observing,
As You trickle outside my window,
raindrops perfect little mirrors,
of the truth that lies inside,

It tells me a little story,
of elegance and glamor faded,
The wind is His kisses, soft and perverse,
The rain is Her lashes, fluttering provocatively,
Leaves fall from trees, like clothing tossed asunder,
the Moon wanes in Her waltz, blushing at the scene,
God and Goddess are playing,
And no one expects,
The Spiral inside, is turning and turning,
The storm around me is peaceful Chaos,
the connections are stronger,
my roots are deeper,
I know where I am, I know those I serve,
My heart unfurling is like the rolling clouds,
unfettered by fear,
The tempest I ran from is no more,
This time is mine now, I am undeterred,
There are no excuses, none I can use,
To keep myself back, only forward on this road,
I walk by Kali,
Caught in Her Stare,
Through Her I will pass, unharmed yet forever changed,
Sharp rocks and flames can not forfeit my will,
The hurricane around me,
No longer can harm,
My laughs are as feathers,
caught along the wind,
Dreaming of this day,
When I didn’t fail, I flew upon the lightning in dearest darkness.
